In the field of structure design, the traditional structure optimization design has been carried out many years, many structural engineers have been formed to reduce the project cost and improve the concept of engineering economy as the goal. However, Green building evaluation criteria of materials in optimization design different from traditional structure optimization design. Green building refers to the buildings of small resource consumption,small environmental impact and less carbon emissions.Compared with traditional structure optimization design, Green building optimization design is to reduce carbon emissions as the goal. Because frame- shear wall structure is main structural form of high-rise buildings,so frame- shear structure optimization design is very necessary.on the basis of the green building and frame- shear structure optimization research present situation, This article analyze the characteristics of frame- shear structure system and the principles of shear wall arrangement, This article summarizes the three method to determine the shear wall quantity.Establish a frame- shear structure mathematical model of structural optimization. Then research on green building under the full life cycle theory of carbon emissions calculation method, combining with xi ’an area determine the carbon emission factor of main building material, building carbon emissions calculation formula for structure optimization design. Then combined with the a engineering example, using finite element analysis software to establish the structure of the entity model, and make the structure satisfy seismic performance and calculation carbon emissions of the structural system,the degree of these factor of the number and the arrangement of shear wall, shear wall thickness,shear wall and column of concrete strength grade affect the frame- shear structure seismic performance and carbon emissions. Calculation results show that Reasonable quantity and arrangement of shear wall not only can improve the seismic performance of structure, but also can significany6 tly reduce the carbon emissions of frame- shear structure;the influence of Shear wall thickness effect on seismic performance of structural system is small, but it had a greater influence on the carbon emissions of structure. Appropriately raising the strength grade of concrete can reduce carbon emissions greatly.Finally the paper puts forward the frame- shear structure optimization based on green building.The conclusion of this article provides a meaningful reference for frame- shear structure optimization design of green.
