Biomass energy as clean and renewable energy, is getting more and more attention, and can be used as the main alternative energy sources of fossil energy in the future.What is more, biomass clean stove using biomass briquettes as fuel, clean and efficient, is suitable for households in rural area. So, the research of the performance influence factors and improvement of biomass semi-gasified clean stove is very important, which will help further the industrialization and popularization of semi-gasified clean stove.The field test of biomass clean stove plot showed that new clean stove was widely welcomed by local farmers. Clean biomass stoves could reduce the usage of coal and the emission of carbon dioxide, and improve the air quality of rural area, and reduce the heating cost.According to the research of biomass stove testing method, when the stove was tested with 5L water and without lid could reduce the impact to thermal efficiency from other factors. When the moisture content got higher, the fire power of biomass semi-gasified stove would be reduced, and all the pollution factors would reduce, so the moisture of the fuel should be decided in biomass stove tests.The biomass clean stove WBT testing comparison shows that the stove structure have great influences to stove performance, like primary air and secondary air, height of combustion chamber, space for flame burn, tube for flue gas.During the improvement of two biomass semi-gasified stove, all the structures was improved and tested more than once. At last, the thermal efficiency got higher, air pollutant emission got lower and meet IWA tier 4. The CCT test also shows that the stove performance got improved.This research designed a new semi-gasified charcoal producing stove, and this stove could produce biochar when cooking. What is more, a emission control device also designed to reduce the CO and PM emission of biomass stove.
