The machine for testing material’s performance is suitable for all kinds of physical and mechanical properties test of rubber, plastic sheet, pipe, plastic film, electric cable, waterproofing membrane, metal wire, cardboard boxes and other materials. The machine for testing generator gasket’s performance designed in this thesis is used to detect whether the washer of generators is qualified, the key technology is how to design a high pressure hydraulic system to enable it to complete the testing of the quality of the gasket.Basing on technical indicators of the machine for testing performance which is used to detect the washer, I put forward the system’s overall program. By comparing with the working mechanism of domestic hydraulic machines, the thesis focuses on the design of hydraulic system of the machine for testing performance、the design of mechanical structure、the design of control system. The specific work of this paper follows:1. According to the requirements of the machine for testing generator gasket’s performance and technical indicators, the overall design of the machine for testing performance is given but also the design of hydraulic system, the design of mechanical structure and the design of control system are given on the basis of the overall program.2. By comparing the machine for testing generator gasket’s performance with domestic machine, this paper points out the difficulty of design, namely how to precisely control oil into the hydraulic system under high pressure and how the actor moves accurately. To meet the design of the hydraulic system under high pressure, we have to select hydraulic components and calculate parameters rigorously, and then build a oil line under high pressure, finally I analyze the working process of the machine for testing performance.3. I give a brief introduction of the simulation software AMESim used in the hydraulic system. Then I build a model on AMESim for the high pressure oil line designed in the hydraulic system above. By simulating and analyzing three conditions of the machine for testing performance, I get a conclusion that verifies the reasonableness and feasibility of the design of oil line under high pressure.4. The design of the hydraulic system of the machine for testing performance is completed, it needs mechanical package. I choose sensors of the specific location depending on the technical indicators of the machine for testing performance, and then I complete the design of overall mechanical structure combining with the installation of sensors and location of hydraulic components. Finally I analyze the stress and deformation of core mechanical parts on ANSYS, as a result the design of the mechanical structure meets working requirements of the machine.5. According to the workflow of the machine for testing performance, I have designed a control system. In hardware, I mainly select the PLC, touch screen, sensors, inverter used in the project; in software I complete the design of PLC program, the production of configuration interface, the set of communication parameters between PLC and touch screen.
