Water hydraulic technology has a very broad application prospects in engineering machinery, marine development, new energy and other fields, because of its green, safe, efficient, low cost, etc. Pressure control valve is an important part of the water hydraulic technology.Promote the use of large-scale water hydraulic drive technology must be developed a high-performance water-hydraulic control valve as a precondition. The research of characteristics of a hydraulic pressure control valve orifice must be put into the first place. In this paper, simulation of common types of popper valve port has been research. According to the results, the analysis of characteristics of valve port have been finished. The main work is as follows:As the most widely used type in valve port, cone valve can be divided into single-step throttle and two-step throttle. In the second chapter, simulation of single-step throttle and two-step throttle have been finished respectively, then analyze the effects of cone angle on flow, cavitation and dynamic flow force characteristics according to the simulation results. Finally compared cavitation characteristics of two-step throttle to single-step throttle, the results show that two-step throttle has stronger anti-cavitation ability than single-step throttle.Simulation of cone valve, ball valve, slide valve and flat valve have been finished respectively. According to the structure of the valve spool, the four kinds of valve port were divided into groups to compare their flow, cavitation and dynamic flow force characteristics.Simulation of different chamfer length of single-step throttle have been finished. Then analyzed the effects of chamfer length on flow, cavitation, dynamic flow force characteristics according to the simulation results.Simulation of two-step throttle with surge tank has been finished. single-step throttle and two-step throttle comparison, the same condition, through primary throttle orifice flow is greater than through two-step throttle orifice flow, secondary throttle mouth valve core fluid power is greater than the level of throttle mouth of fluid power valve core, secondary throttling cavitation resistance is superior to the level of throttling.Finally, a brief introduction of poppet valve characteristic test device and summary of the whole paper have been finished.
