With the rapid developm ent of com puter technology, high-tech electronic technology, the technical level of China’s power industry is a big step upgrade. Now, in order to control the core of the plant com puter, automatic control of all production systems much emphasis in practical appli cations, and a wide range of play, an increasingly important role. Power plan t auxiliary systems, such as ch emical desalination water treatment system, condensate polishing systems, ash handling system, boiler water and water treatm ent systems, etc. are used programm able automation technology.Condensate polishing plant system normal operation, not only can play a quality assurance unit needed moisture to improve the thermal efficiency of plant operation and reduce emissions of boiler drum, the role of energy saving and economic costs, but also can reduce the unit start tim e, improve unit condenser leak protection, extend pickling cycle units, these effects are quite important.Water condensation traditional power plant control system fine processing system is composed of multiple relays and buttons. Relay is a strong signal with a weak signal control solenoid switch, which controls the volume of large complex systems, devices and more complex wiring, m ulti-contact, low re liability, easy to change, to find a nd troubleshoot problems on the production process requirements change poor adaptability occasion, any single p oint of failure will affect the no rmal operation of the whole system, the low degree of autom ation, large duty operation. In most cases, power plant auxiliary systems for the normal operation of the relay control of inconvenience.With the rapid developm ent of comput er technology and high- tech electronics, programmable logic controllers--- PLC(Programmable Logic Controller) occurs, it sets EIC(electronic control, electric meter, telex) as a whole, w ith its powerful features, a high degree of reliability is widely used in power plant control system. In this paper, where the work of God Guohua Sanhe Power Plant Unit # 3, two condensate polishing system runs as a design object, based on the unique advantages of PLC technology, designed a PLC(Programmable Logic Controlle r--- programmable logic controllers) as the core of centr alized control programmed step sequence to PLC(Programm able Logic Controller--- Programm able Logic Controlle r) technology as a program-controlled condensate polishing sy stem run by DCS(Distirbuted Contorl System--- distributed control system) control platform, the realization of the entire unit condensate polishing system is running centralized monitoring and autom ated operational control.
