The civil aviation industry has developed rapidly in China in recent years. With the increase of the number of aircraft and flying sorties, the pressure of the controlling and management department in airport aviation is increasing. Currently, departure time interval of aviation aircraft is longer and the traffic jam phenomenon also occurs. This phenomenon makes the aircraft’s departure as normal and ultimately increases the punctuality rate of the flights, especially in the large airports. It brings great inconvenience to the travel of passengers. The main reason of all mentioned above is that our bureau doesn’t have efficient and advanced airport management and control methods. In view of this, this thesis proposes a surveillance and analysis system for taxiway based on infrared technology. This system effectively controls departing sort of the aircrafts and is beneficial to the establishing of outbound queueing system. The main goal is to maximize the utilization of space area and runway and it achieves the exchanging of information and cooperation in air traffic management department with the airport and the aviation sector. It is a very secure auxiliary system for the air traffic management system. Infrared technology is relatively mature and the system is relatively low cost. It is the high cost performance of technology for the design of system.This dissertation is organized as follows: firstly, the status of research of monitoring systems and departure queueing system are introduced in detail. By reading the literature, there are a lot of literature describing the definition and the current research status of the system. However, there are no detail describing of the actual functional analysis and structural design for departure queuing system. So the value of the study of the system in this dissertation is obvious.Secondly, the dissertation summarizes the standard taxiway and infrared monitoring and analysis system and describes the requirements analysis and the realization of technology. Besides, this thesis expounds its position in the departure queue system and describes its hardware and software technology in the fourth chapter.Thirdly, this thesis explains the concept of departure queueing system. This thesis proposes departure system definition, system requirements and the overall structure for Shuang Liu Airport.The design is divided into several smaller parts. The first is the overall implementation. The second is the set of software and hardware implementation. The third is the module of system functions and the fourth is the achievement of peripheral data and interface. The fifth is the realization of network security.Finally, this thesis introduces the development and operation of the system and the system implementation and testing in detail. The final chapter gives a summary of the work.
