With the continuous development of power industry and the wide application of nonlinear power electronic devices, harmonic and inter-harmonic pollution in the power supply system is worsening. Besides, composition is more complex and time-varying property is stronger. Therefore, it’s significant to find out the composition and the content of harmonic and inter-harmonic. In this dissertation, an accurate and real-time harmonic analyzer system with a core of DSP is designed based on algorithm for frequency estimation of normalization comb filter to realize the detection and analysis of harmonic and inter-harmonic with unknown frequencies, unknown amplitudes and unknown phases under complex conditions.The causes and the dangers of the harmonic are introduced in the beginning of this article. Together with the research results at home and abroad, several common methods in harmonic analysis are analysed and compared. Algorithm for frequency estimation of normalized comb filter is discretized by using Runge-Kutta method to compose discrete biased frequency adaptive comb filter. Effectiveness and real-time performance of the algorithm are validated by MATLAB simulation analysis.TMS320C6747 is taken as the core in the hardware design of time-varying harmonic analyzer, including clock circuit, reset circuit, power supply circuit, JTAG interface circuit, A/D converting circuit, keyboard circuit, LCD display circuit and RS485 circuit.The software design of the system includes data acquisition, data processing, man-machine interface and network communication. Program flow chart of each module is given in this dissertation.A stable and reliable harmonic source is necessary for the online test of the harmonic analyzer. Therefore, a harmonic signal generator with adjustable frequencies, amplitudes and phases is designed as a signal source of the harmonic analyzer, and the harmonic analyzer is tested.Finally, a summary, a prospect, several remaining problems and shortages of this system are listed.
