For the advantages of low cost,non-toxic,and relatively simple production process,Dye-sensitized solar cells (DSSCs),as the third generation of solar cells, have attracted much attention on the research from its depth and breadth.1.Nanoparticulate SnO2 powder was prepared by hydrothermal synthesis method, and it can could optimize the reaction time.SEM,TEM and XRD are used to investigate the particles morphology, size, etc. The morphology, size and structure of the particles were investigated by SEM,TEM and XRD.Spherical SnO2 powder is was also prepared by hydrothennal synthesis method,it can could optimize the reaction time and temperature. The morphology, size and structure of the particles were investigated by SEM,TEM and XRD.2.SnO2, as the photoanode, was assembled into dye-sensitized solar cells.Based on it,this research dealt SnO2 nanofilms with TiCl4 solution of different concentration, then discussed the effect on the optical and electrical properties.Photoelectric efficiency (TV) and the incident photon-current conversion efficiency (IPCE) of the cells were tested. The other work is doping certain amount of smectite into the prepared SnO2 powder, and studying the photoelectrical property that the doping made.
