As one of the main components of farmland water conservancy construction, the design and construction quality of the channel directly affect the construction and application of farmland water conservancy project. But due to various reasons, the irrigation water utilization rate is only 0.5 to 0.6, resulting a serious waste of water resources and land resources, but also affects agricultural production.In order to establish and improve the supporting construction of farmland water conservancy project engineering technical standards lag, realize the "Twelfth Five Year Plan" period the new effective irrigation area and the effective utilization coefficient of irrigation water increased target, the concept of aqueduct-shaped fabricated U-shaped channel is put forward. Based on the former research and traditional analysis method of irrigation channels, aqueduct-shaped fabricated U-shaped channel is studied, providing a reference for similar studies. The main contents are as follows:(1) Based on the domestic and foreign research, the concept of aqueduct-shaped fabricated U-shaped channel is put forward. The corresponding flow chart at different diameter, depth and gradient is concluded according to the hydraulic calculation formula of uniform flow in open channel and U-shaped profile, as well as the aid of the empirical relationship between the various hydraulic parameters.(2) By arranging and constructing the drains, the structure map of UD40, UD60, UD50 and UD90 is proposed, and the socket joints form is presented. By reference to structure analysis method of small U-shaped aqueduct, the structure design results of UD40, UD50, UD60 were obtained by using Beam Theory Calculation Method. The structure design results of UD90 model were obtained by using the Three Dimensional Solid Finite Elements.(3) The quality control points, field layout and construction technology of aqueduct-shaped fabricated U-shaped channel products were summed up.(4) By comparing the U-shaped channel with the trapezoidal and rectangular channel, the U-shaped channel saved more concrete than trapezoidal and rectangular channel. By comparing the aqueduct-shaped fabricated U-shaped channel with traditional U-shaped channel from the cost, the soil volume, flow condition and so on, it is concluded that the aqueduct-shaped fabricated U-shaped channel has a significant advantage and long-term economic benefit,which is worth vigorously promoted in the construction of farmland standardization.
