Today, the high-speed development of science and technology of mechanical engineering products precision, efficiency, energy consumption, economic and practical demand is higher and higher. Magnetic suspension bearing is produced by permanent magnets or electromagnets magnetic rotor levitation.It has no oil pollution, no mechanical friction, low energy consumption, high efficiency, convenient maintenance, and many other advantages. It is very adapt to today’s needs. At present, a large fan energy consumption still use the traditional plain bearing. It carries large and unbalanced force, such as operation, maintenance and service life of the fan is greatly influenced. The presence of the magnetic suspension bearing can better improve these problems. So, the structure and characteristics of magnetic suspension bearing fan and bearing capacity analysis is more practical and meaningful.This paper in view of the current fan drive bearing set of needs, we design a new type of composite magnetic suspension bearing, and analyzes its characteristics. First of all, this thesis analyze the principle of magnetism and magnetic materials,and choose the high performance NdFeB material according to the performance requirement. Through the analysis of magnetization way, this paper adopted the structure of the axial magnetization way. According to the needs of the fan parameters on the structure of magnetic bearing is analyzed, and designed a kind of radial combined with conical magnetic bearings. At the same time, by applying the method of magnetic circuit magnetic circuit design.Secondly, using Pro/ENGINEER software on the 3d modeling. At the same time using the ANSYS Maxwell finite element software to design the bearing of load-bearing characteristics and magnetic properties of analysis and research, and using the theory of equivalent magnetic charge method analysis are compared. Through the study of the finite element analysis of magnetic suspension bearing, get the distribution of magnetic field intensity H and the lines of magnetic force and magnetic induction intensity B. Then The paper makes clear the relationship between the thickness of magnetic ring,the number of magnetic ring,width of the magnetic ring, position offset and bearing behavior, to improve and optimize the magnetic bearing structure.According to the above analysis and fan drive bearing requirements, using permanent magnetic suspension bearing, and comparative analysis of selected six supporting project, to determine the combination of permanent magnet bearings and ball bearings with supporting scheme.And carries on the finite element analysis of composite permanent magnetic bearing, the analysis results and the theory of magnetic circuit calculation results were compared. Verify the magnetic circuit design is reasonable, the magnetic bearing can meet the requirement of fan. Magnetic bearing design and analysis in this dissertation can provide certain reference for the industrial application of fan.
