The lifestyle of residents is showing an unprecedented change. People’s living standard and quality is improving day by day. The national striving to develop gas pipeline network makes the residents gas usage amount and usable range also increased and expand year by year. The prospects and market demand of gas automatic meter reading and management system is considerable.General film type gas table due to its gas charges lag, high cost of copy table personally, complicated gas tube network and inventory resources which cannot be real effectively achieved in management and optimization, all these problems increase the operation cost of gas companies. Thus, it couldn’t be better to meet current modern social followed by the life concept of smart life, however, the emergent of smart gas table and automatically copy table management system with high security, reliability and intelligent of measurement and control is going to solve this outstanding problem.In this article, based on mass data analyses of gas tables with various features, such as IC card prepaid fee gas table, code table, wired far pass table, radio far pass, network type infrared number pass, and etc., combining with numerous gas companies’ general concerns of the security, reliability and intelligent of measurement and control when selecting gas tables, research and design a set of new gas automatically copy table and the management system program combining with features of automatically copy table, gas fault alarm management function, and facilitate efficient operations. It provides system related controller, power, clock, reset memory, temperature monitoring and the interface circuit, and partly designs the hardware of M-BUS bus, RF transceiver circuit, and GPRS data communication. It gives an overall schema of gas automatically copy table and the management system, an design proposal and design process of operation management system and wireless automatically copy table software, and at last under a virtual experiment test conditions, settles joint debugging of system part features, preliminary meet a satisfying degree. Experimental results confirm the correctness and feasibility of quoted program and related design, it gains valuable experience for follow-up research and development to promote related products, and it can also provide good references to resolve various metering and management issues for gas companies encountered in their operations.
