Study On Ro/Ro Passenger Ship Energy Saving Technologies

As the development of ship manufacturing industry and the progress of social civilization, the interpersonal exchanges have become more frequent. The passenger rollers serving as the kind of convenient and economic water traffic tools are playing an increasingly important role. At the same time, the requirements for high performance and low power consumption of is getting higher along with the rapid changing of people’s livin the ro-ro passenger shipg standard.Ship enterprises can reach the targets of energy consumption by adopting reasonable energy saving technique by taking all parameters into account and setting reasonable technical parameter.There are four theoretical designs below after gathering and researching about the selection of ship energy saving.(1) This paper analyzes the grid conditions of shore power and ship power and the loss of different voltages. Economic influences of shore power and port are obtained through theory calculation. It summarizes, in most cases, the shore power has the greater advantages than ship electrical system in the economy and environmental aspects.(2) According to the concept of ship’s total energy system, the thermal balance and exergy equilibrium of energy system are analyzed. This paper compared the fuel consumption of 70% load and 65% load.(3) In order to reduce the labor cost, fuel cost, components consume, lubricant cost and maintenance cost of the Ro/Ro passenger ship. This paper studies the effective control of the company operation cost by utilization of oil testing equipments, oil seperatorst and homogenizers from the point of maintenance management.(4) This paper elaborates the views of scholars at home and abroad, the problem of energy saving is analyzed. The effective measures of energy saving for Ro/Ro passenger ship are discussed from three aspects, namely the equipments, oil consumption and oil-economizing technology.
