Activate Of "Li"

Under the culture context of urbanization and new rural construction, the construction work of rural culture hall in Zhejiang province has been carried out in full swing. The theme of "Li" is the soul of the cultural hall. How to active a theme has been seen as a system, which is reflected in the concept, content illustration, and combine the guide to the whole frame, content, activities and mechanism of the cultural hall.This paper attempted to start from the cultural hall to study how to activate the ideology of "Li" in the material form of hall with design languages.We took out the concept of "Li",which contains the foundation of Confucian culture and resorted it in practice. Ultimately, we constructed a new integrated system to discuss the construction of rural culture hall.First, we analyzed the design elements of rural culture hall by the perception and interpretation of "Li" and "Hall". Second, advocating to people, culture, land, landscape and space as the starting point, to integrate resources with the culture hall, combining with community building approach of Japan. Third, applying system construction method of narrative activation to string together theme ideas, content planning, story development, form performance and interpretation of the role. Thus, we expanded the system construction design theory of rural culture hall. Finally, involving the practice of culture hall into Liantang, YiWu and exploring feasible design approach relevant to system construction design of culture hall.
