The Research Of Brown Fields Recovery’s Formal Characteristics Under The Field Of Vision Of Eco-technological Aesthetics

Since the 21 st century, the tertiary industry based on service business has been flourishing. Meanwhile, there is a tendency among traditional industries to decline. As contaminated industrial wastelands, the brown fields, appear everywhere in cities, landscape regeneration of brown fields has become an important topic across the world, and it springs up in our country. However, there are many serious issues in brown fields’ landscape designing, such as overreacting to formality, and isolating between environmental pollution control and landscape reconstruction and beautification. Such problems result in the separation of technologies and aesthetics. Moreover, the research methods remain on cases introductions and listing of design methods, which is lacking of specific research of brown fields formal aesthetics. Therefore, in order to dealing with the current situations of landscape engineering and gardening in landscape regeneration designs, we must find out a modal creation of the conflict between ecological technology and formal aesthetics.This paper focuses on the new art form of brown fields’ landscape regeneration from a standpoint of eco-technological aesthetics. Ecology and art form aesthetics are used as fundamental theories to conduct cases studies. To build the structure of landscape regeneration‘s formal aesthetics, the methods of brown fields modal creation is discussed.There are three components in this paper. Firstly, current methods of brown fields’ ecological recovery and landscape renovation are discussed. Root reason of isolation between ecological recovery technologies and formal aesthetics is discovered, and thinking of aesthetics-oriented brown fields’ ecological recovery design is established. Thereafter, characteristics of ecology and aesthetics are summarized, and influence of landscape design from technological aesthetics is analyzed. A tentative solution of the conflict between artificial technology and natural ecology aiming to ecological recovery is proposed. Secondly, I tried to find and control the intersection between ecological principles and formal aesthetic principles, therefore, build a harmonious brown fields’ regenerated landscape. Thirdly, I proposed that the key to the success of brown fields’ landscape regeneration in the context of eco-technological aesthetics is to keep the balance between the power of artificial technology and nature. The way to solve the conflict between ecological technology and formal aesthetics is to make the ecological technology to a proper extent.
