It’s a important way of diesel engine development that how to effectively implement engine’s lightweight, high speed, low fuel consumption and low emissions. Due to it’s significant performance advantages at low speed and acceleration conditions, the mechanical supercharger research is of great research idea on the pressurization technology development of internal combustion engine. In this paper, I research the matching and reliability of turbocharged diesel engine by the method of the numerical simulation analysis and the experiments. The main contribution and innovation of the thesis are as follows:(1)I establish and validate the effectiveness of the mechanical turbocharged diesel engine based on one-dimensional computational model. Then research the two different mechanical supercharger layout scheme, the gear ratio and electromagnetic clutch and throttle control and other aspects of the mechanical supercharger. The results show that the mechanical turbocharged diesel engine operating point of the turbine through the high zone, with better matching performance.(2) I established the three-dimensional models of the piston, connecting rod and crankshaft, using abaqus software to simulate of the mechanical reliability of critical components in turbocharged diesel engine such as piston and connecting rod group. The results show that:the mechanical turbocharged diesel engine key components can work properly, the maximum temperature and maximum stress values are within the allowable range.(3)I build a test bench match to research diesel engine comprehensive performance indicators after supercharged, and its external characteristics and fixed speed load test experiments. The results show that:the acceleration response of mechanical turbocharged diesel engine has been greatly improved, in the case of the minimum speed 900r/min, the dynamic response time of original diesel engine drops from 2.5s to 0.5s, decreasing approximately 80% in percentage.
