Design Of Tujia Theme Tea Cafe "the Space Of Ju"

Based on the state of art of tea cafe and coffee shop, associated with the managing state of tea cafe in Hunan province, the strategy of combing the modern tea culture and Tujia tea culture is explored, and a them tea cafe "Ju" is designed.Firstly, the background and general state of Tujia tea culture is investigated by survey and literature review. And the tea culture and snack background is carefully explored. Afterwards, the questionnaire survey is performed to collect information and data to evaluate the demands of potential clients and assess the basic elements of the theme tea cafe-"Ju".The life style of Tujia people, including the eating habits, cultural property, the architectural quality and material elements are carefully explored. These statistics are used as the foundation of the design example.The acceptance of general people regarding the tea cafe and specific features of Tujia tea culture is investigated, based on which the essential elements considering both culture and art are extracted. Based on the development of tea culture, the applicable design elements, inspiration for native clients are extracted, which can be adopted in the design example of "Ju" to achieve the combination and harmony of ancient and modern tea culture.Based on the previous investigation and analysis, the design of Tujia theme tea cafe-"Ju" is performed. Firstly, the location of the tea cafe is selected based on the investigation of environment. The color strategy and arrangement is confirmed based on the proper selection of materials and color elements. The plane arrangement draft is confirmed by comparison and optimization based on function consideration. Subsequently, more plans are developed by combing the cultural and functional elements, and the optimized plan is determined for further design. Then the effect drawing is completed based on the optimized strategy. In addition, the detail of entrance, seats and box are designed.The essence of the research lies in the localization and extension of the Tujia tea culture, and promoting the traditional tea culture. Furthermore, the economy and tourism of the district can be promoted, and the traditional culture of minority nationalities can be recognized, with commercial potential simultaneously. Lastly, the fading civilization of traditional Tujia culture can be strengthened by combing with the modern aesthetic demand, with practical function too.
