With the development of electric power industry, environmental protection and the improvement of nuclear power, wind power has a series of new environmental protection of power industry development. However, the energy structure of our country is still in the coal as the main primary energy, the power is still in the power industry to occupy the dominant position, and will not change in the near future. With the deepening of the reform of electric power development, factory net separately, for access to the Internet are gradually going deeper. For coal-fired power plants, therefore, provides the high quality, low price and high quality power, no matter from the economic point of view, or from the perspective of social significance, has a profound and realistic significance. For power supply side, the need to provide the user with frequency, voltage qualified,qualified electrical energy, meet the needs of power load and change. Therefore, request the electricity grid is qualified, only plays a role of substation, power distribution and power grid, the grid itself cannot produce electricity, high quality of electricity in the final analysis, want to rely on to ensure that the power generation side. So how to make the power generation side of electricity for the power grid to provide high quality, optimizing the AGC control system is one of the effective methods.In this paper, taking Hebei Xuanhua thermal power construction investment limited liability company 1, No. 2 unit as an example, analysis of AGC control strategy for unit, describes the typical structure and working principle of the power grid and the unit of AGC and primary frequency control system, and on the basis of analysis on control strategy optimization. On the premise of ensuring security unit to automatically enter the AGC optimization model, the optimization mode unit has a rapid load regulation performance, better than that of the north China power grid dispatching institutions(K1) on the rate of load change, the adjustment precision(K2), the basic requirement of the response time(K3), enhancing the regulation performance ranking(Kp) in the entire network unit. In frequent AGC varying load conditions at the same time reduce the change of the major parameter magnitude, the impact on reducing the unit stability. And on the basis of this analysis, the control strategy is optimized.
