With the continuous development of scientific and technological capability and theimprovement of human’s living standards, Heating and cooling systems appear todiversify. The excessive energy acquisition and consumption accompanied is alsogrowing. Building energy efficiency gets the more and more attention of people. Thereasonable use of balancing valve products in water system can reduce the hydraulicimbalance phenomenon effectively to obtain the remarkable benefits of energy saving.Therefore, it is of great significance in the current situation of our country’sconstruction energy conservation and emissions reduction and increasingly nervous ofworld energy supply.The purpose of this article is to achieve total hydraulic balance, for the adjustmentof the air conditioning water system performance, in the first place, research were madeon the flow characteristics of control valves in pipe networks, the classification andworking principle of balance valves; The second, the article analyzed the harm ofhydraulic imbalance on the system and put forward the corresponding solutions.Afterwards, it discussed the meaning of the balancing valve products for solving thehydraulic imbalance between the HVAC water system problem, especially the layoutmethod of balancing valves in different parts of the air conditioning water system. Thelast, the related research and explain have been conducted in hydraulic balanceproblems that often appeared in some engineering practices.Through the energy-saving renovation of the three engineering examples inbalance valve, the systems improved the control precision and realized the stability ofthe temperature and humidity regulation. The operation of the daily life was ensured.The energy was saved and the operation cost was reduced, too. Through the energy-saving renovation of the three engineering instances, the feasibility of balance valve in the water system is verified, and certain ideas and methods is provided to solve suchproblems later. Hope that the article can make contribution to the development ofhydraulic balance technology in the future.
