The electro-chemistry rectifier transformer is a rectifying transformer, whose function is converting the current and voltage in A.C. Power Grid to what rectifying devices need and at the same time, it can improve operations on A.C. And D.C. Side by alternation of phase number and phase angle.For windings on value-side of huge electro-chemistry rectifier transformer, it is difficult to carry out a simulating study because its current is large, parallel lines are numerous and the structure of busbar is complicated. Moreover, the procedure of modeling and simulating contains lots of simplification and treatment, including the simplification of parallel lines, the connection of simplified segment and busbar, and the connection between wrap winding and entity windings, etc.After simulating analysis on electro-chemistry rectifier transformer, in order to increase the cooling effectiveness of oil flow and prevent the local overheating of the some branches, insulating materials in conductor turns of upper and lower iron yoke should be changed into high heat resistant materials and at the mean while, broaden the oil channel between windings. What’s more, the use of low-magnetic steel in the direction of outgoing line on the value-side insider the oil tank can eliminate the local heating of metal components, decrease the additional loss of transformer and improve the reliability and safety of transformer operation.
