At present, there are many problems in the aspect of rural residential construction, such as lack of planning, characteristic and the individuality gradually disappear, and infrastructure is imperfect and so on, especially the residence of poor thermal comfort and high energy consumption is more outstanding. Because the rural residential construction is plentiful and extensive, regional environmental conditions and the life energy consumption way is different, therefore this article select related issues about energy-saving technology of building palisade structure in the south of Henan rural areas to study, in order to provide theoretical guidance and technical support in the process of promoting the construction of new socialist countryside and rural urbanization.The south of Henan province, is belongs to hot summer and cold winter region partition according to the building thermal design. The region’s rural residential construction is very simple,mostly low-rise masonry structure with courtyard houses and almost did not take any heat preservation measures. In this paper, through the thermal calculation for typical farmhouse according to the current energy saving standards, it can be inferred that the rural residential thermal performance is generally poor form the calculation results, and not only the thermal comfort of the residence is worse and energy consumption of the residence is higher.At present most of the southern Henan province rural residential use discrete way of energy consumption to improve the indoor thermal environment in winter and summer. According to the actual situation, it can be concluded that the insulation structure is a kind of suitable for the local rural residential energy-saving structure form by selecting the typical residential samples and setting up heat engineering calculation model. The rural residential structure is mainly brick structure in the future for a long time, many factors should be considered when choosing rural residential enclosure structure material. If you want to meet the energy efficiency design standard for the rural residential common brick wall or concrete hollow block wall, it needs 20~30mm when using extruded polystyrene board or needs 25~35mm when using powder polystyrene particles insulation pulp. If you want to meet the energy efficiency design standard for the cast-in-place reinforced concrete roof, it needs 50 mm expansion of polystyrene or 35 mm extruded polystyrene board or 110 mm hydrophobic perlite board. In addition, the roof can be used with thermal insulation roof or overhead roof. Doors and windows also should strengthen the window shading measure under the premise of the control window wall area ratio except to its thermal performance.We can put forward the experimental design that is suitable for the local rural residential, according to the actual situation of southern Henan area and the research results about the palisade structure of the farmhouse. We also can simulate the energy consumption for the main structure of rural house, using DeST-h energy consumption simulation software. Form the point of the calculation results, it can be proved that the research results for farmhouse energy-saving is feasible. This also provides a certain amount of academic theory and engineering application value for the new rural construct in southern Henan area.
