The Analysis Of Native Culture Application In Urban Landscape

Local culture embodies the local culture and features, and gives the sense of plain simple to the people. But if it expresses in the urban landscape construction reasonably,and it is the most easy to arouse people’s emotional resonance. At present, with the speeding up of urbanization, the severe environmental pollution, population pressure increasing, the loss of folk customs, the keeping and continuing of local culture are impacted unprecedentedly. Therefore, bringing the local culture into the city landscape is an effective means to protect the local culture resources and find the local cultural characteristics.Jiujiang has many famous people, mountains and water, where is a ancient city with rich tourist resources and a history of more than two thousand years. Studying the application of local cultural landscape in the city has a very important role in protecting the native culture of Jiujiang and promoting the sustainable development of the city landscape of Jiujiang. This study interpret the concept of local culture and urban landscape, extract the local cultural landscape elements, summed up the expression principles, methods and vector of the local culture elements in the urban landscape with the methods of literature reviewing and summarizing and classifying. The native culture elements are divided into three categories such as “things”, “thing”, and “meaning”. Then the native culture of Jiujiang are researched and analysed by literature researching, field investigation, case analysis and other methods.I find the composition of the native culture landscape elements,analyse the native culture in urban landscape from the landscape of jiujiang. The application of the local culture elements are analyzed from two aspects of carrier material and non-material carrier respectively. Among them, the local culture in city landscape of Jiujiang mainly includes: dock culture, native plants(lotus) culture,religious culture, fish culture, etc. On the basis of the analysis of the application of jiujiang native culture in the urban landscape to explore the urban landscape designing way which is on a path to sustainable development, and the strategy of promoting urban landscape culture function. The research results of this paper has a certain guiding significance in promoting the cultural function of the city landscape in Jiujiang and impulsing the development of the planning and designing of urban landscape.Besides I also hope that the research can lay a foundation for the research and practice in the future,and provide theory basis.
