| Beginning from building energy efficiency and the re-utilization of wastes, this paper aims to manufacture a new building material which is met the required of the cast-in-place maintenance wall in the collectivized settlement project--“warm-foldâ€(compressive strength is greater than 3.5 MPa, the flexural strength is greater than 1.2 MPa, softening coefficient is greater than 0.65).The material is compounding with the polystyrene grain belongs to the industrial by-product and cotton-stalk came from the agricultural wastes, cement as the cementing materials, slags as the skeletal materials. The performances of this material are focus on compressible strength and flexural strength, self-insulation to some certain and the better resistant performance to sulfate attack.Based on the experimental study, the briquette physic-mechanical performance’s impact from the different addition amounts among cement, steel slag,slag, cotton stalks and the polystyrene grain. The paper mainly studies in the following aspects:(1)Respectively for cement and steel slag, cement and slag, cement and steel slag and slag mixture proportion of indoor experiments. Combining research topics, in meet the mechanics performance index,the maximum dosage of steel slag(mine) and thermal insulation performance as the prerequisite, on the basis of analysis of test data, to determine the selection of 40% the amount of cement and steel composite cement, slag the amount of 60%; Selection when the composite cement and slag cement dosage is 50%,slag dosage is 50%; cement and steel slag and slag cement compound selected for 40%, 20% of the amount of slag, slag amount of 40%.(2)In cement and steel slag, cement and slag, cement and steel slag and slag mixture, on the basis of the mixing ratio of cement, with steel slag(mine) and mixture respectively add experimental study of proportion of cotton stalks, polystyrene particles.
