Thermal power technology has been developing rapidly in recent years, and the power generation equipment has also entered an era of high-parameter, large capacity and complex. The costs of the safe operation of equipment, maintenance and overhaul have increased significantly, and thus, to guarantee the economic benefits of thermal power units, power enterprises need to constantly optimize the process of repairing power equipment, which can improve the reliability of the equipment, produce enormous economic benefits, and enhance the competitiveness of enterprises. With the modern sensor technology, microelectronics technology and other advanced science and technology applied into the equipment maintenance, some problems exists in plant equipment management can be solved efficiently through the study of the application of information fusion, condition monitoring and fault diagnosis technology in the overhaul, and then the safety and reliability of the power plant can be improved basically. Therefore, during the time of the rapid development of the power companies, it has an important practical guidance value for the optimization study of electrical equipment maintenance process.The optimization study of equipment maintenance process aims at improving the reliability and safety of power equipment operation. The optimization of state maintenance process has been linked with the implementation of state maintenance strongly, and thus reasonable maintenance process has great significance in guaranteeing the normal operation of power plants. At the same time, reasonable repair process will be able to not only guarantee the reliability and safety of electrical equipment, but also, to some extent, reduce the risk of security management, significantly reduce the cost of production plant, improve the economic benefits of plants, enhance the competitiveness of enterprises and play an important role in the sustainable and healthy development of the plant.Based on the analysis and study of the characteristics and process of power equipment maintenance, electrical equipment maintenance mode and process optimization systems theory, this paper analyze the status of the equipment maintenance process of Harbor Plant at the current stage, and found that the integration of information technology and the plant management processes need to be further optimized, that the maintenance cycle of the unit need to determine in a more scientific way, and that the boiler repair process needs to be improved. According to the characteristics of power plant equipment maintenance management of the Harbor Plant and the main plant equipment status, this paper has optimum designed equipment maintenance information fusion process from the information fusion process optimization, information fusion process optimization design to maintenance of the device, and the device status information management system optimization design; has identified reasonable maintenance cycle of process optimization drawing from state assessment unit, steam turbine reliability assessment, economic evaluation unit and steam turbine maintenance cycle analysis and process design; and based on the research on risk assessment methods, has distinguished the analysis method of power equipment risk maintenance and the risk assessment of the thermal power plant, and identified the boiler equipment maintenance repair process optimization design drawing based on risk assessment.
