Development of social productivity increasing the demand for energy, the energy crisis and environmental pollution have become two big problems worldwide. Wind energy is a renewable, clean and pollution-free energy, and attracts more and more attention as the technology matures. As the rapid development and increasing installed capacity, wind power has become an important part of the power supply in grid structure. However, faced with many practical problems of too fast developing, the stable operation of wind turbines in network is one of the problems to be solved.Root of the power fluctuations are random fluctuation of wind speed, to achieve stable operation of wind turbine is the main task of control system under that. Papers base on the model predictive control theory, and applie the advanced algorithm to wind turbine control system, the main research work are:Analysis and study of the characteristics of natural wind, and establishs of the gust and the turbulent wind model;With the mechanism analysis of pneumatic systems, mechanical transmission and generator system of wind turbine, a mathematical model of the wind turbine is build; through the research of operation characteristics of the wind turbine, the influence that pitch angle and torque with the wind turbine operation is known, analyzes the basic control strategy of torque control and pitch control.Proposed the design process of wind turbine model predictive control system based on Bladed and Matlab software. Through the basic principles of the model predictive control analysis, combined with specific parameters and characteristics of the wind turbines, model predictive control algorithm achieves a successful application in wind turbine control system.Designed a model predictive control pitch controller and a proportional-integral pitch controller of wind turbine, through simulation analysis, model predictive control pitch controller can quickly respond to interference, and with a smaller amount of movement of the pitch. For the feature of wind turbine with more constraines and notable nonlinear, the controller is refined and improved, designing a composite model predictive control pitch controller contains compensation algorithm of wind turbine.Designed a co-simulation platform for real-time, combining the advantages of accurate modeling in Bladed and the design advantages of powerful toolbox functions of Simulink software, and analysis the external interface of the software, written a co-simulation platform program, achieve the real-time communication of data between them. Co-simulation platform which can easily be modified controller parameters and structure, greatly shorten the design cycle, providing a good platform for intelligent algorithm control of wind turbines, has good prospects for practical application.
