| With the increase of the capacity of wind power generation, the proportion of wind power generation in power energy is increasing. Most electrical equipment requires a fixed frequency power supply, power control requirements to reduce the adverse effects of wind power grid, these factors are required to use the active control of wind power units. At present, variable pitch control technology is widely used in large wind turbines. The type of unit can increase the energy capture, flexible and improve the power quality and ease the load on the transmission system and tower to prolong the service life, which largely make up the variable speed variable pitch wind turbine structure is complex and the disadvantage of high initial investment.In this paper, we analyze the aerodynamic theory, the variable pitch control principle and the working principle of the wind turbine generator, and use MATLAB and BLADED two software to establish the simulation model of the wind power generation system. The traditional PI controller, simple model predictive controller and multi model predictive controller are designed for variable pitch control system.The simulation results show that the PI controller has the advantages of simple structure, good stability and high reliability, but it is too dependent on the model parameters of the control object, the robustness and the overshoot of the system.Compared with the traditional PI controller, the model predictive controller has better stability and dynamic performance, especially in the case of the system’s mathematical model. And relatively simple model predictive controller, multi model predictive controller is better able to solve the influence of the wind power plant,such as the impact of large wind speed and other factors on the simulation results. |
