Power Industry plays a pivotal role in the development of the national economy, which is closely related with people’s livelihood, and it is also the key industries in the world economy. Thermal power plant is an important part of the electric power industry, not only bear the load power supply, but also shoulder the task of heating. However, extraction steam direct heating water for heating method used in thermal power plant, the existence of low efficiency of energy use, waste of energy quality. Application of absorption heat pump system is useful improve the overall energy efficiency of thermal power plant, helps to reduce the heat load generated by increasing the discharge of pollutants, to solve the increasingly serious environmental problems and has important significance to build a conservation oriented society.Firstly,the paper studies the related theory knowledge of lithium bromide absorption type heat pump technology.Development and application of absorption heat pump technology are introduced, the common absorption heat pump system were summarized and compared.Depth study of the absorption heat pump system design process to complete the case-based study design, conducted a design calculation software development, application software analyzes the impact of parameter changes required heating area of heat pump systems.After then,the paper takes the design software as a basic analysis tools,determine the control equation of the heat pump operation to build simulation model of heat pump system.Analysis of the impact of changes in different operating parameters on the overall efficiency of the absorbing type heat pump system.some experiments of heat pump performance are carried out,Through the experimental data to validate the model, prove the accuracy of the simulation model.Finally,the paper takes the simulation model and the data of performance experiments as a basic,choose the different experiment conditions and simulation conditions to compare the overall economic efficiency of the heat pump system and steam turbine system running under different conditions, find out a good strategy for heat pump system operation,has certain positive significance for popularization and operation of the heat pump system.
