In recent years, the intelligent vehicle in the direction of intelligent, networking and electric has experienced rapid development.3G/4G and Wi-Fi communication technology’s development provide a good opportunity for intelligent vehicle system in video transmission. The intelligent vehicle will be bound to generate huge amounts of information in the future. The problem how to use cloud computing and big data technology in intelligent vehicle field is worth considering.Based on the research of high-speed mobile communication network, big data, video transmission technology, on the basis of accumulation in intelligent vehicle technology in the laboratory, designed the intelligent vehicle video driving system. By using the system we can view and control the remote intelligent vehicle through the real-time video. Not only the complex image processing is transferred to the cloud server, but also the intelligent vehicle video information is stored in a distributed file system to facilitate off-line analysis and data mining. The system has a certain practical value for intelligent vehicle developers and consumers. The main work as following:1) Investigate background knowledge and related technologies, including 3G/4G mobile communication technology, Wi-Fi technology, Hadoop, HDFS, Hive and video transmission technology, automotive electronics and so on.2) Design and implement intelligent vehicle system module, sending real-time video information to the cloud server. Based on HDFS distributed file system, build a cloud storage system. Design and implement the real-time computing service and communication interfaces. Design and implement system management module to view and remote control vehicles via web.3) From the perspective of the functionality and performance of the system, test each module’s function, verify and analysis system for further applications in the field of intelligent vehicle.
