The development of the refrigeration industry has bring more and more environmental issues. The paper combine the related environmental assessment indicators and methods of refrigeration system propose the life cycle assessment method of the refrigeration system.Studies the specific case of life-cycle refrigeration system model and environmental impact assessment model; and analyzes the different ecological design strategies, studies the eco-design methods of refrigeration system.First, the paper proposes a method of refrigeration system life cycle inventory and analyzes the requirements of the inventory data collection, establishes the refrigeration system list model,shows the clear division of the life cycle stages, the life cycle stages of the refrigeration system is divided into five stages of materials: components production, assembly, transportation, use and recycling. And establishes the calculation model of all stages. And studied the heat pump water heater.Secondly, Listing load factor of refrigeration system is reclassified into four types, and determines the characteristics of the model, shows the effect of the proportion of comprehensive evaluation. Air heaters case results shows that: the environmental impact of resource consumption, mainly in the production phase; the global warming is mainly in the use phase;the energy intensity is mainly in the use phase; the ozone depletion performance is mainly in the production, use and recycling phases. The highest proportion of Comprehensive environmental impact is the compressor in the life cycle, followed by water pump and refrigerant, Accounting for 21%, 16% and 15%, respectively.Finally, Proposed refrigeration system designed method that base on life cycle assessment:Use the life cycle assessment method to identify the significant environmental impact stage,materials and components, proposed design procedure of life cycle assessment combined QFDE methods, And studies three case design, The results shows that the air conditioner refrigerant of R134 a program is the best design, followed by R410 A programs and R22 air conditioner program.
