Nowadays, all over the world, the two problems of energy andenvironment have constantly plagued mankind. With the development ofeconomy, the amount of car ownership is increasing year by year, as a result, thedemand for oil is increasing every year. The huge consumption of the gasolineand diesel makes the environment problem increasingly prominent. Theautomobile exhaust exacerbates the haze, and because of this, the earth isbecoming warmer. And at the same time, the prices of the gasoline and dieselare rising, which makes us eager to find out a kind of clean fuel to replace thegasoline and diesel. Natural gas is a kind of abundant reserves, low pollutioncombustion and clean fuel, people are paying more and more attention to theapplication of natural gas, and natural gas vehicles are more and more popular. In this paper, combined with the Shanxi province science and technology majorspecial project "LNG liquefied natural gas heavy truck", the key components ofLNG engine fuel supply system, carburetor was studied by simulation, to solvethe matching problem of the carburetor and the engine cooling fluid, and theproblem of LNG engine cold starting. There are two main forms of the LNG engine fuel supply system, namelysupply out the cylinder and supply in the cylinder. At present, most LNG caradopt the former, in this fuel supply system, carburetor is the key parts tochange the LNG from liquid to gas. In this paper, one of this fuel supply system, the multi port injection was studied, described the various parts of compositionstructure and principle in detail; introduced the basic theory of FLUENTsimulation; the simulation of the matching of the vaporizer and the coolant flowunder the engine normal working state was carried out. The study found that, when the temperature of the coolant is90℃and the LNG temperature at theentrance is111K, the coolant flow ranges from6L/min to10L/min. This paperstudied the cold start working condition of the engine and developed a new typeof electric heating thermostat control carburetor to solve the difficult problem ofthe vehicle cold start.
