A Study On Crop Landscape Design Of Hunan Province

In recent years, rural tourism has become one of the main ways for recreation. The presentations of the concept of "Beautiful China" image promote the development of rural tourism. The eco-agricultural estates, landscape tourism, eco-tourism and other leisure entertainment has gained growing attention. And also, the crops landscape as the main element of rural areas has also draw the attention of landscape designers. Based on the crop landscape design theory, we conducted a survey and analysis of the status of crop landscape among Changsha urban and peri-urban agriculture manor. Based on the analysis of20agricultural estate through casual field camera survey, visitor satisfaction, and rural landscape imagery survey. We found the current problems exist in agriculture manor in Changsha district, and also, we offered suggestions for rural tourism crop landscape design. The following results could be implied from this research:First, Through satisfactory survey and field research, we found problem exist in current eco-tourist farm, such as unreasonable crops combination with the surrounding landscape, single crop varieties, the lack of local characteristics, unclear crop landscape theme, rough landscape crop quality, low ecological benefits.Second, this dissertation summarizes the features and functions of crops in agricultural manor, and proposed ecological, economic, features, culture as design principles for future rural crop landscape design.Third, according to the crop landscape features and patterns, this research proposed casual point, tour line, and producing surface landscape mode. In addition, these modes are refined into embellishment type, node type, type of living, learning, and other specific land landscape mode.Finally, this research take Puman ecological farm in Chenzhou as example, and proposed a design plan to create flexibility in the use of crop landscape mode, the implementation of the transformation rang from crop morphology, configuration, type selection and other aspects, making crop landscape ecological, ornamental and experiential.Crop landscape design should not only consider their ecological value, give full play to ecological benefits; but also consider ornamental value, and make people to feel visual enjoyment. In addition, the role of crop production should be considered to meet the basic needs of rural production. Only all of them are taken into account, could the landscape truly value in use be formed.
