In recent years, along with the domestic level of urbanization in-depth development,Consolidated body building in the capital as well as many large cities, it focused on theoffice, residential, recreational, commercial, and other functions, the structure of thesebuildings usually use two-tower with enlarged base, therefore, the study of such structuresis particularly necessary. Due to the multi-tower structure with enlarged base is not anisolated building, in contrast the multi towers are connected together by the base, it has theform of a complex vibration, there exists vertically integrated revenue and vertical stiffnessmutation,so it belongs to the irregular structure. In addition two-tower structure of differenttypes of reactions in the earthquake is also inconsistent.At present, the researches on two-tower structure with enlarged base of the generallack of regularity systematic summary. In particular, the influence of the interactionbetween the different spacing and layers of the tower, the law of how the base height effecton the overall structure and how the relative stiffness between with base and tower effect onthe overall structure, these aspects need to improve more. Therefore, on the basis ofprevious studies done on the following research work:1. The article uses the finite element analysis software Midas/Gen establishedposition11different two tower spacing and different number of layers structural modelsand a single tower structure model, Software analyzes each model with modal responsespectrum method, it gets the internal force structure in the elastic stage vibration period,three-dimensional map modes, vertex lateral, earthquake response force, shear floor and internal forces of frame column, external core barrel and base top roof plane axial force, theabove results were compared and analyzed. It sums up how the three factors include towerspacing along the X, tower layers change and tower spacing along the Y to the center effecton the structural response under seismic action, it provides guidances for selectingpre-construction program.2. Using Midas/Gen software analysis two different heights and different towerstiffness structure with elastic time history analysis. It calculates the shear of the bottom ofbase and tower and inter layer displacement under different seismic waves of multiearthquake, article studies the influence of mechanical behavior and law of structures whenthe base height and tower stiffness change.3. Using Midas/Gen software analysis two different heights and different towerstiffness structure with push-over analysis, it analyzes each model’s performance points,interlayer displacement angle and the develpoment of plastic hinge during the largeearthquake, this paper summarizes the weak position of each model when the base heightand tower stiffness change. In addition, it sums up the destruction of procedure of the twotower structure in large earthquake.
