In today’s era, the architect can’t live without utopia thought. Architopia is the future construction of reality, the development of today’s architecture has a point to sexual significance.This paper based on the historical development of architopia concept,and analyses the frontier trends in architopia and some typical cases, eventually redefines the architopia, and then concludes three characteristics of architopia, that is will, transcendence and schema. Through analyzing lots of typical cases, four types are eventually get. They are type one:Messianism Architopia, type two:Compassion Architopia, type three:Science Fiction Architopia, and type four:Collectivism Architopia. This paper does not only has clear theoretical analysis, it also has concise graphic to show the organizational structure of architopia, which can give readers a deeper and intuitive understanding of architopia.This paper hopes to promote the development of architopia and promote the prosperity and breakthrough of architecture in China, and then build a better modern city and human life.
