Recycled Concrete Frame-core Wall Structure Isolation Performance Analysis

Recycled concrete can solve the problem that there is more and more scrap concrete to be disposed for each country. However, the seismic behavior of recycled concrete structure or component are worse than those of normal concrete. So, it is necessary to improve the seismic resistance of recycled concrete structures. The base isolation as one of the effective control of damping systems has been widely used in the actual projects. simplified models of isolation structure can well and quickly predict the earthquake response of the isolation structure. But, the research that how to select the simplified models for different structures is rarely discussed. So, this paper makes a analysis of different aspect ratio isolation structure by using simplified models, isolation design is calculated for a recycled concrete structure in there and the isolation performance of the structure is analyzed. The main research contents of this paper are as follows:(1). Based on the recycled concrete and base isolation,some farther direction of research is proposed.(2). In these paper, the damping mechanism of base isolation structure is discussed, and the mechanical performance of the isolation bearing is summarized. Furthermore, the hysteresis models of isolation bearing is also been suggested.(3). Based on the Simplified modes of base isolation structure in our country,makes a analysis of different Aspect Ratio isolation structure by using simplified models and finite model. Through these analysis results, a new Aspect Ratio correction method of simplified model is given.(4). Isolation design is calculated for a recycled concrete frame-core wall structure according to the existing isolation design process and the arrangement principle of the isolation bearing. Time history analysis of isolated structure and non-isolated structure is carried out by using SAP2000. And analysis the isolated structure by the three degrees of freedom corrected simplified model.(5). By the way of analyzing the effect of the three main parameters on isolation performance, some suggestions are provided to the selection of isolation layer parameter for the recycled concrete frame-core wall isolated structure.
