It is important for us to diagnose motor fault, because we will find motor fault and repair motor as early as possible. So we can summary that motor diagnose is one of the most efficient measure to reduce motor fault.When motor equipment working condition changes, different fault types always occur with their respective fault characteristics such as different levels of vibration, noise and so on. This paper with the help of three kinds of sensors to realize the collection of a wide range of vibration frequency. It is easy for us to acquisition signal with the help of theory of wavelet threshold value, and then we use MATLAB to simulation wavelet threshold value. We are sure that wavelet threshold can reduce noise which is in the acquisition signal. In this paper,it analyze the spectrum of the vibration data by using fast discrete Fourier transform theory, gives the theory of motor fault diagnosis and analyses different spectrum characteristics of different motor fault. Finally, it introduces designing process of motor vibration data acquisition system, system structure and function, hardware and software implementation process, etc.This topic analyzes the function of motor fault diagnosis device in our daily life. Finally, it designs the system which its function is include data acquisition, data storage, data analysis, network transmission, and so on. It can transmit acquisition data via Ethernet. The system is combined with Fault diagnosis system and expert system, in order to build a data acquisition system which transmit data via Ethernet. The Ethernet module which is called EIP-341 transmits data to the PC system or PLC which uses standard CIP protocol for online fault detection.
