Tube section is a large tubular steel parts. Through the way of welding, and other parts assembled into chemical material storage tanks or pressure vessel tanks. It is form the main structure of tanks. In all fields, large tube section has been widely applied, it also with the development of global industry and the demand of rapid growth. At the same time, the tube section processing quality requirements also more and more high, its turnover, dispatching and transportation etc, has become a tube section processing, manufacturing and using the industry generally attaches great importance to the issue.Subject section design of the large tube section tumbling machine, workbench as CL type, force uniform, weight capacity is big, it is mainly used for reverse operation of large rotary parts, such as tube section, steel coil and mold, etc. Turnover is a single degree of freedom, driven by blunt round and pin tooth, the flip angle of CL type workbench is 90°, rated load is 300 tons, the biggest diameter of tube section is 8m, the temperature of tube section is 1250℃.The major function of the project according to the tumbling machine and design requirements. Make sure the design of the large tube section tumbling machine. Application of SolidWorks software modeling, preliminary complete the tumbling machine of virtual design. Then, the application of ANSYS software in finite element simulation analysis, improving scheme according to the results of the analysis. Finishing the virtual design of the large tube section tumbling machine.Thesis mainly study tube section tumbling machine from the following aspects:1. According to the design target and market products, comprehensive analysis of the structure of the tumbling machine, make sure the design of large tube section tumbling machine.2. The application of SolidWorks software modeling, and global interference checks, as well as the whole working process of the motion simulation analysis, modify the detected problems, complete the preliminary design of tumbling machine.3. Stress analysis was carried out on the reverse process, can solve the force parameters. When maximum load, the ANSYS software was applied to the main drive components(blunt round and pin tooth) on strength and modal finite element analysis, determine the components conform to the requirements of the job.4. The application of ANSYS software for finite element analysis of transient temperature field, temperature field distribution cloud image, determine whether the parts can be normal work.5. According to the analysis result and the conclusion, carries on the improvement. Determine the rationality of the design, the design of large tube section tumbling machine comply with the design requirements, ensure the safety of the equipment can use.
