This is an era of rapid development of science and technology. The economic efficiency of enterprises is to a large extent determined by the speed of R & D. Using Virtual Design Technology and Finite Element Analysis (FEA) during the process of R & D and updating product can greatly improve the design speed, lower costs, improve the success rate of one-time design and then win the opportunity for enterprises. This paper mainly studied the principle of QQ AMT system, the structural characteristics and the relevant content of FEA, and then some relevant parts were designed on the basis of a detailed analysis of the forces during the shift process.The methods of FEA mesh generation, the quality evaluation of the elements, the solving precision testing and the contact problems have been studied.This paper also studied the mechanical principle of the vehicle's electing and shifting system and the factors affecting the synchronizer shifting force, and the measure results analysis of shifting forces were completed. The force bearing of the vehicle's electing and shifting rockers under different working conditions were analyzed and calculated in detail, and then their structural design was finished. Finally, their 3D solid models were built with a Safety factor of 1.86 and FEA was also used to analyze their stress.The elect and shift cylinder bore and the size of other relevant parts were designed after the analysis of the structure of the vehicle's electing and shifting cylinder and the principle of shift.The vehicle's hydraulic station virtual design was done and its 3D solid model was built. The stress and mode of hydraulic station were analyzed by FEA. In the end, a hydraulic station 3D solid model was built with a Safety factor of 4.6722 after repeated analysis and calculation and structural changes.The theory and process of virtual assembly technology and the methods of virtual assembly used in complex system were firstly analyzed, and then the virtual assembly design and interference testing of AMT electing and shifting system were done. The assembly process of AMT electing and shifting system was shown in an intuitive way, which could be used as reference to make the assembly path of physical products. The design speed has been effectively improved in this way.The motion simulation model of the electing and shifting machine was built, then its position simulation and motion simulation were done respectively in the requirement of location and time, and then their results were analyzed.
