At present, the main positioning and navigation methods for most large-scale buildings with complex internal structure are hiring staff to provide guiding service, setting up road signs and building information centers. With more and more extra-large buildings being put into usage, the traditional operation/ maintenance monitoring mode cannot meet the requirements of professional and customer-based management, because of its complex internal structure, large operation areas, and the complicated operation/maintenance supporting system. Consequently, the needs for indoor LBS are increasing. Currenly, the following two points are playing more and more important roles in evaluating large business buildings’ informatization operation management level, namely how to effectively monitor the distribution of people in the building, and to provide tailor-made service to different people and vehicles; and how to realize the effective monitoring and management for people and equipment by informatization methods.Firstly, concern the problem that severe signal multipath effect, low accuracy of sensor node positioning, etc. in narrow space, a new method using weighted centroid localization(WCL) algorithm based on received signal strength indicator(RSSI) was proposed. The algorithm is used in scenarios with characteristics of long and narrow strip space, and it can dynamically acquire the decline index of path by received signal strength indicator and distance of neighbor beacon node signal, can improve the environmental adaptation of RSSI distance detection algorithm. In addition, the algorithm based on environment improve weight coefficient of weighted centroid algorithm by introducing correction factor, which improves the accuracy of localization. Theoretical analysis and simulation results show that the algorithm has been optimized to adapt to narrow space. As compared with the traditional weighted centroid algorithm, in the width of 3, 5, 8, 10 meters respectively and the number of beacon nodes for 10 roadway environment, its positioning precision is increased by 22.1%, 19.2%, 16.1% and 16.5% respectively, the stability is increased by 23.4%, 21.5%, 18.1% and 15.4% respectively.Secondly, this article aims to provide a high-tech information platform to exhibition halls providers, exhibition organisers, exhibitors and audiences via learning from experience of traditional exhibition, integrating the technologies of the mobile internet, indoor location, data processing and analysis, cloud computing and so on, and realizing accurate indoor location, timely information push, barrier free virtual communication platform, in order to make exhibition organizing work more effient, to assist exhibitors to advertise in a wiser way, to provide a better exhibition experience to audiences, and finally to hold a real digital exhibition.In the end, the article makes a conclusion, raises areas which are not covered in this article and defects, and forecast the future of LBS operation and maintenance system.
