| Bucket wheel stacker reclaimer is a highly efficient continuous handling machinery, mainly for the pier, large steel mills, power plants and mining large yard, which is used for the stockpiling of bulk materials, digging and material operations. Because of its high production efficiency and simple operation, bucket wheel stacker reclaimer has been widely used all over the world. Forearm rack is the main body of the reclaimer’s frame structure, with large weight and the complexity of its stress distribution. Its working reliability has a direct impact on the performance of the entire machine, so select the forearm rack as the research object to analysis its static and dynamic performance is of great significance.At first, this paper give an overall of the bucket wheel stacker reclaimer and elaborated the working principle, and also has been designed its main parameters and performance parameters. Use three-dimensional mapping software Pro/E to stand the three-dimensional modeling, and through the finite element analysis software ANSYS to stand its finite element model. The paper has used ANSYS software to analysis three kinds of forearm frame, and got the static mechanical properties of each forearm frame. The results show that oblique beam can reduce the forearm frame deformation effectively, the maximum deformation of the cross-type frame forearm is smaller and more conducive to the beam structure protection. For the parallel forearm, the maximum stress value is small and can improve its stress concentration. This paper has performed modal analysis to obtain the natural frequencies, and through harmonic response analysis on the basis of the modal analysis, we get the safety speed range of the bucket wheel of different ways inclined beam arrangement. The results show that the beam arrangement has little impact on its natural frequency, crossed forearm has a larger allowable speed range, while the parallel forearm is more stable.The method above can not only predict bucket performance in the design phase, but also shorten its development cycles, reduce costs and ensure quality of the bucket, and provide a reference for its optimization. |
