The Research On An Improved Method For Adjustment Of Material Price In Transportation Construction Projects

The article proceeded from the cost component level, analyzed the characteristics of transportation project material price, the legal basis and influence factors of price adjustment and established a suitable material price adjustment model, and then used mathematical statistics methods to analyze the price volatility index and price adjustment cost index which material transportation project price difference adjusting costs at a background of engineering examples of transportation project under construction price adjustment.The article concluded that the essence of material price difference adjusting is material pricing valuation and engineering measurement of transportation project, it based on combing through and analyzing the documents of the material price adjustment from the existing cities’ and fields’. Price adjustment cost is one of the important works in the course of the construction of transportation projects; it is an important part of the interest balance between clients and contractors. Price adjustment cost is blessed with high risk, huge change, hard to predict, easy cause disputes and so on. This research determined the price of select material, material consumption and material price adjustment methods as analysis object, it analyzed and combed the current situation of material price difference adjusting and based on a province building transportation project material price adjustment. In Combination with the industry material price adjustment methods, exact an improved method that it called the basic price method and used to the transportation project pricing adjustment, the essay based on the standard tender documents, then collection and collation relevant information about project material price adjustment, according to the assumption of indetermination the material price, material consumption and price adjustment method. The article uses the province transportation projects under construction as an example and verifies the rationality and applicability of the improved method through the comparison and analysis on the material price adjustment.
