Yunnan Resort Hotel Design Research Based On Regional Characteristics

With the rapid development of the world economy and the world communication is becoming more and more convenient, the people’s living standards has been improved, and the people began to pursue the satisfaction of spiritual culture under the premise of rich material conditions. In this premise, the global tourism industry is also booming, and it has become one of the fastest growing industries in the world. Under the trend of tourism development, the concept of the resort hotel began to emerge and popularize. As a major tourist province of China, Yunnan Province provides fertile ground for the emergence and development of the resort hotel.But at the same time, although the development of economy brings the convenience of communication, but also makes the world become convergence. The progress is called "globalization". Convergence on the architectural space and form leads to the gradual loss of regional architectural culture, "internationalization" began to replace the national personality of architecture gradually. China, as a country with long history and luxuriant culture, have a lot of important culture, such as the regional architecture. For the purpose of developing tourism resort hotel in Yunnan Province, we should carry forward the regional culture and promote regional spirit of Yunnan, to create the Yunnan local resort hotel.In this paper, the resort hotel in Yunnan Province is studied. Through the study on the related theory of regional characteristics of architecture, and using comparative analysis method, multi-angle study method, the method of practice and the method of combination of theoretical research and empirical research, we can make a specific research on the architectural design of regional resort hotel in Yunnan Province.This paper is divided into six chapters, describes the topic about "Yunnan resort hotel design based on regional characteristics".The first chapter is the introduction, to sum up the contents of the study totally. Its content includes the research background; the purpose and the significance; the research status domestic and abroad; the research methods; the research contents and the framework of the paper.The second and third chapters is a theoretical research and analysis section. Through elaborates the concepts of "regional" and "resort hotel", the second chapter lays a theoretical foundation for the whole paper. The third chapter focuses on the regional factors that influence the Yunnan regional architectural design.The forth chapter is the solution of the problem. Analyzing and summarizing the regional design method of Yunnan resort hotel combined with the regional factors.The fifth chapter is a section of integrate theory with practice. It reveals the regional design idea behind the architectural design, Combined with the practice of the resort hotel design in Yulong Bay, Anning. Finally, the sixth chapter is the conclusion.Through thinking and analysis of Yunnan regional resort hotel, I hope this paper can attract more and more people to pay attention to the regional design, at the same time, I also hope this paper can make some recommendations for the regional design of Yunnan resort hotel.
