With the development of human society, People’s concept and methods of health has changed, and the fact that people are paying more and more attention to the health of their own and their family, promoted the development on wearable mobile-medical devices. While homogenization phenomenon of the wearable mobile-medical products is more and more obvious, and the market competition is going increasingly fierce, the traditional product oriented marketing model has been unable to meet the personalized needs of consumers. In academic world, the research on wearable mobile-medical devices were mostly focused on technologies, while few work has been done on the research of the service user experience. Our research tried to use the methods and theories of service design to develop a wearable body temperature monitoring service, and use this to prove the effectiveness of service design in the study of wearable mobile-medical devices. In this paper, by means of temperature monitoring which is one type of service of family medical as the entrance, using wearable device solution, from the angle of service design, we tried to work out a new temperature monitoring service system, which has a better experience, is more effective and easier to use. This study used the basic process of service design, with user research methods like the market survey questionnaire, user-interviews, and make an in-depth mining on the users’ needs of temperature monitoring. When we started to design and development this service, we went stick on the idea of human centered design. We studied the wearability of the hardware products in-depth through both theory and test, and got a solution which had both the stability and comfort of wear. We also invited users to evaluate the prototype of our software before we realized it, to make sure our design was good to use.Through this study, we designed a wearable body temperature monitoring service system, which can keep an eye on the users’ temperature, give an alarm when the wearer’s body temperature goes high, as well as store and output body temperature data, assisting doctors to diagnose. Finally, we proved that this service system had improved the user experience in family medical service, and the theory of service design was very meaningful in the research of wearable mobile-medical services.
