| As the most basic elements of human survival, water has been accompanied by the development of human civilization. Most city built by water, or river flows through the city, that meet the demand while forming the clever landscape. The construction of city waterfront space not only bring a new opportunity for the economic development of the city, but also protect the ecological of city waterfront.In this paper, it researched and analysed the theory of new urban waterfront landscape, examined some representative urban waterfront design cases, cleared the progress in historical and history development of urban waterfront, put forward the theory and method about new urban waterfront space landscape planning and design after depth analysis related theories, summed up the concept, characteristics, elements,design principles, design methods on waterfront space. At last, planning and design were performed, taking Lakeside Forest Park in Jinxian country as an example, based on the obtained theories and methods.The Lakeside Forest Park is located in Binhu District of Qing Lan town that in Jinxian country, connected with the Qinglan lake. Following the natural, harmonious concept, the park is divided into five areas after investigation and analysis.They are recreational & sports area, entrance square area, hydrophilic & entertainment area,business & leisure area, nature area and waterfront landscape strip. Each region arranges in accordance with the trend on tour behavior by moving to the quiet, and there are characteristic landscapes in every region. The sports & recreation area includes fitness square, tea room, children,s amusement playground, performing stage,tree-lined jogging track. The entrance square area includes entrance landscape stone,history gallery, culture sculpture and ecological parking. The hydrophilic &entertainment area includes moon water lookout, hydrophilic plank, curved water,fishing square. The business & leisure area includes leisure bar, marina, sixian square,plant maze, secondary entrance plaza. The nature area includes the wizard of Oz,green corridor, floating flower fragrance, sparse forest grassland. Park tour line is divided into land and water transport traffic. Land transportation consists of main,secondary road and trail. Water traffic contains of hydrophilic plank, luo hong bridge and marina. Constructions, sketches and other public service facilities, made up with wood, stone, steel and other materials, are in line with ergonomic principles, which are set up in main regional landscape. Plant design follows the principle of adaptive tree and nature. Native trees were used mainly. Shrubs, grounds and aquatic plants were rational allocated. Plant communities were constructed artificially. By design,Binhu Forest Park becomes a comprehensive leisure complexest with forest landscape,leisure, sports and entertainment hydrophilic. |
