At present, the lithium ion battery is the most widely used in the market. Electronic products, for example, electric vehicle and mobile phone that have put forward more and more requirements to the lithium ion battery. The main influencing factors of the performance for lithium ion battery is the choice of the cathode material. However, layered rich-lithium cathode materials have been focused due to their higher rate rcapacity, better cycle stability and they will be the main positive electrode material in the future. This text, we research three-componentmaterials, which include prepared method, characterization and electrochemical property. a series of samples xLi2MnO3·yLiMn1/2Ni1/2O2·(1-x-y)LiCoO2 was prepared bycoprecipitation method, the material is formed by three different materials of solid composite. The content we researched is that determine the component ratio of the best materials in the same cobalt element material.At first, a series of xLi2MnO3 ·(1-x)LiMn1/2Ni1/2O2(x= 0.1,0.3,0.5,0.7,0.9), which inexistence LiCoO2. The sample of x=0.5 have the highest capacity and best cycle performance. The minimum irreversible capacity was obtained by the first charge and discharge. The sample also showed the best stability in the same current density. The 0.5Li2MnO3·0.5LiMn1/2Ni1/2O2 sample shows 97.6% capability retention, and good rate capability.Secondly, a series of xLi2MnO3 ·(0.9-x)LiMn1/2Ni1/2O2·0.1LiCoO2( x=0.05, 0.25 0.45, 0.65, 0.85). When x=0.45, the 0.45Li2MnO3·0.45LiMn1/2Ni1/2O2·0.1LiCoO2 sample have the best electrochemical performance. The sample with x=0.45 showed the minimum irreversible capacity, the best cycle performance and good rate capability.In the last, a series of xLi2MnO3 ·(0.8-x)LiMn1/2Ni1/2O2·0.2LiCoO2( x=0, 0.2, 0.4, 0.6, 0.8). When x=0.4, the 0.4Li2MnO3·0.4LiMn1/2Ni1/2O2·0.2LiCoO2 sample have the best electrochemical performance.The best first charge and discharge, excellent cycle performance and good rate capability were obtained by the sample.
