There are great theoretical and practical significance in the research of safety risk management.The methods on the process of the study are combined with statistics collection, local investigation, case analysis, theoretical analysis and field test.The risk of information since the heavy haul trains processing are classified.The safety risk of heavy haul trains on TongHuo and Western Railway are identified and assessed by using the method as Checklist, Experts cited, Fishbone diagram, Risk matrix and Fuzzy comprehensive evaluation. According to the conclusion of safety risk assessment, the controlling and evading measures are given, and the safety risk management system of heavy haul trains on TongHuo and Western Railway are established.In this thesis, the theories of safety risk management are used to research for the safety of heavy haul trains on TongHuo and Western Railway. The current situation of safety risk management for heavy haul trains on TongHuo and Western Railway are analysised.The risk factors affecting the safety of heavy haul trains operation process are identified, and assessed on the basis of risk identification.
