Research On The Application Of Ecotect In The Ecological Green Roof Design Based On The Strategy Of Passive Design

As the rapid development of the city, the human settlement has become a primary focus all over the world. The green roof provide a new thought for the improvement of the city environment. Ecology has been through the transformation from simply consider the vegetation as ecology to apply ecology into the design of landscape and green roof. Now, the ecological design of green roof is a irresistible treed of the development of green roof. By summarizing the ecological function, ecological design and its techniques of green roof, the strategy of passive design in green roof to make it more comfortable for people was explored. Though the use of Ecotect in the simulation of ecological green roof design, a new method was introduced to construct a high-comfort and high-ecology green roof.By exemplifying the current situation of the green roof in Changsha city, the ecological service function and vegetation landscape of green roof and the feasibility of the application of Ecotect in the green roof was deeply researched. By contrast of the application of Ecotect in architecture and its develop experience, the paper proposed a new design means to build ecological green roof.The study started from the analysis of passive design of ecological green roof and the basic situation. By figuring out the main meteorological factor of green roof, i.e. solar radiation, and by combining with the photosynthetic traits of common plant of green roof, analyzed the optimal layout of the plant in green roof, a scientific configuration of vegetation of green roof was put forward. The analysis of the application of Ecotect in the passive design of ecological green roof through real-life case has also been done in the study.
