Textile Reinforced Self-stressing Concrete (TRSSC, for short) could make agreatly reinforcement effectiveness for self-stressing concrete, because the fiberbundle can be arranged along with the main direction of stress. Whether textile andself-stressing concrete can coordinate with each other better is related to the bondbehavior. The self-expansion behavior is restrained by textiles in the hardeningprocess and produces self-pressure, which can significantly improve the cracking load. The restrained matrix will exert a strong gripping, which greatly improves thebonding properties. A series of experimental and theoretical research work about thebond behavior between textile and self-stressing concrete have been completed in thepaper based on the National Natural Science Foundation of China “Study onQuantitive Control Mechanism of Self-stress in Self-stressing Concrete”(51108207)and Science and Technology Development Planning Support Project of Jilin Province“Structural Potentiality of Self-stressing Concrete Bridge Deck Pavement Using inContinuous Bridge”(201201057).1. The influence between initial bond length of fiber bundle and matrix on the bondbehavior is investigated by pull-out tests. The calculation formula of the bond strengthbetween textile and self-stressing concrete is established in this paper based onTepfers’ partly cracked thick-walled cylinder model. Meanwhile themicro-morphology of the bond interface between the textile and self-stressingconcrete is observed through a scanning electron microscopy test.2. The pull-out mechanism between fiber bundle and self-stressing concrete isanalyzed based on the four fold line model, which studies the mechanical process ofdebonding failure.3. This study tests the bending properties of a TRSSC one-way sheet underfour-point loading. The factors on bending properties include matrix type, distributiontextile rate and cover thickness.4. The bending mechanical behavior of TRSSC one-way sheet is calculated andanalyzed. The calculation formula of textile reinforced self-stressing concrete sheetcracking moment is proposed.
