This paper aims to study the sustainable utilization of mineral water in naturalprotection area in Jingyu based on the key project of Jilin province, Analysis of theformation mechanism of Changbai Mountain natural mineral water, and theadministration project of natural mineral water resource protection areas in Jingyu ofChangbai Mountain, The geophysical exploration of formation mechanism andrecharge condition of Jingyu natural mineral water.Jingyu County is located in the southeast of Jilin Province,the upper reaches ofSonghua River and the west of Changbai Mountain, and the total area is3034km2.The natural resources and the superior of environment in Jingyu are abundant and themineral water resource is paid widely attention as its excellent quality. At present,there are48mineral spring groups were found in Jingyu county and20mineralsprings in the protected area. The total flow rate of the protected area is15.1×10000m3/d, and the permit exploitation quantity is11.8×10000m3/d.13springsin the protected area passed the provincial and national assessment and identification.The mineral water industry is bloomed as the high quality and quantity of the waterresources in this area. Therefore, it is very important to study the sustainableutilization of the natural mineral water as it is very important for not only the socialecology but also the environment in JingyuThe first and second parts of this paper introduces the natural and geographicconditions, meteorological and hydrological characteristics of Jingyu County, anduses the geophysical survey interpretation method to study the basalt thickness anddistribution in this area based on the geological and hydrogeologicalanalysis.According to the topography, geological and hydrogeological conditions, thethird part of this paper first divides the study area to several spring areas, thenanalyzes the recharge source of the groundwater and evaluates the groundwater resources by calculating the recharge and discharge amount of each spring area. Thispart also analyzes the dynamic trends of water quality and water quality of eachmineral water resource.In the fourth part, the paper establishes the groundwatersustainable evaluation system of Jingyu County by taking Bossel index system as thebasic theory. By selecting and establishing the index, the paper evaluates theindicators of the groundwater resources subsystem, social economic subsystem andenvironmental ecological subsystem in the study area, finally gets the best evaluationresult. Then it predicts the subsystems evaluation results of the mineral water resourcesystem in2020and2030, analyses the sustainable utilization and developmentsituation of the mineral water in the future and provides basis and support for thespecific protective measures.Through this study, we can draw the following conclusions: The Cenozoic basaltwidely distributes in the study area, its thickness is thin in the east and west and thickin the central region, and it develops voids and fractures. The unique characteristics ofthe area, such as geological structure, climate conditions, multiphase volcaniceruptions and so on, constitute the abundant and high-quality mineral water resourcesin the study area. Even though the quantity of mineral water resource is enough forthe companies and residents’ normal use so far, in some parts the mineral waterresource exploitation has been too large because of the increased demand of mineralwater resource with the economic development, so the exploitation quantity ofmineral water resource should be controlled. At last, the paper uses the Bossel systemto evaluate the sustainable development of the mineral water resources, and it turnsout that the sustainable development situation of regional mineral water now is good.But in2030, the sustainable development situation will be not as good as now, and thesituation will be on the hazard under existing exploration, then the paper puts forwardthe corresponding countermeasure to protect the mineral water resources.
