In coastal areas or the areas with a shallow groundwater, underground structurecrack, tilt, even damage accidents happened because of ignoring the groundwaterbuoyancy. In recent years, the accidents let people pay more attention to theanti-floating works on underground structures gradually. Many experts and scholarshad studied it from many different views, various anti-floating measures have alsobeen more and more applied to the actual production work. But there also exist manyproblems on the research of anti-floating stability in building and used of theengineering measures.This paper based on a detailed study and comparison of the literature andspecification, systematic study was conducted to selection of anti-floating fortificationlevels, buoyancy calculation with groundwater, calculation methods of anti-floatingstability, design and check of the anti-floating anchor, simulated plate deformationsunder different arrangement of anchors using the SAFE analysis software, provided areasonable and effective reference for the actual work. Main work and research resultsare as follows:(1) Based on a study of the literature and specification, expounds thespecification about the selection of anti-floating fortification groundwater level andthe calculation of groundwater buoyancy, summarized the building anti-floating safetychecking order and checking method—first the whole structure, second local.(2) Compared the design method to the anchor in different specifications,summarized comprehensive design of two kinds of specification, using anchorultimate pull-out test to verify the anchor uplift bearing capacity. And analyzed thereasons that free section length requirements for anti-floating anchor is different fromAnti-sliding anchoring bolt.(3) Researched the anti-floating anchor arrangements of spread foundation undercolumn through using SAFE analysis software. Established several kinds ofanti-floating anchor arrangement on foundation slab model, compare bending momentand displacement of floor. The results show that, for certain numbers of bolts, lineararrangement anti-floating anchors between columns are the more suitable arrangementfor spread foundation under column, to reduce the displacement and bending moment of the floor.(4) For example, the project in Dalian, analyzed for anti-floating stability ofwhole and local structure by combining Distribution of buildings and engineeringgeological condition. Layout and designed of the anti-floating anchor, according oflinear arrangement between columns, in the basement of local anti-floating instability.In order to ensure the rationality and reliability of design, verified through the anchorultimate pull-out test and finite element analysis.
