In the engineering construction of shear walls, in order to improve the speed of construction, reduce the project cost, and follow the development trend of conserving natural resources and protecting environment, the new shear walls with permanent formwork have been researched and applied by more and more people. Our research group has been committed to the research of sandwich composite shear walls with fiber reinforced cement formwork in recent years, and has studied the force mechanism and overall performance of the composite shear walls in different working conditions with experiments.Based on the experimental research, this subject establishes numerical models of sandwich composite shear walls with the fiber reinforced cement formwork by using the finite element analysis software ABAQUS, corresponding with the practical conditions, and does finite element analysis for the mechanical properties of the composite shear walls under the static loading and cyclic loading, then makes the modeling data compared with the experiment data; making use of the established finite element model of the composite shear walls, further analysis is made about the influence of axial compression ratio and reinforcement ratio on the mechanics of this kind of composite shear walls under static loading and cyclic loading.Research shows that, the simulation results are in good agreement with the corresponding experimental results. Based on the established finite element model of the composite shear walls with fiber reinforced cement formwork in this paper, the mechanical properties of the composite shear walls can be explored and studied in new engineering conditions. In a certain range, changing the axial compression ratio, can influence the overall mechanical properties of the composite shear walls under static loading and cyclic loading obviously; in a certain range, changing the reinforcement ratio of distribution steel, can influence the overall mechanical properties of the composite shear walls under static loading obviously, and when under cyclic loading the effect on the shear walls are not evident.
