The development of the social economy accelerates the demand for cars, however, theexpansive growth of vehicles causes a series of social problems such as road congestion,traffic accident, etc. Facing the increasingly severe traffic safety situation,the "intelligenttransportation system"(ITS) comes up with a new idea to solve the sharp contradictions. Thedevelopment and application of vehicular network is an important technical means of ITS.Through the study of a large number of literature and design for reference,this paperproposes an overall plan of intelligent vehicle terminal based on Hi3520D andSTM32F105V8dual processor, which gives full consideration to the market requirement andmay combine with the key technologies such as the embedded technology, CAN bus, datafusion, panoramic image stitching process, etc. On this basis, the design of hardware platformincluding minimum system, video acquisition module circuit, infrared receiving modulecircuit and CAN communication interface circuitis is accomplished. In the software design,this paper uses the embedded Linux as an operating system for application development.Firstly, the embedded system development environment is set up with LINUX operatingsystem including U-boot bootstrap program, the kernel and root file system transplanted.Secondly, the software programs of vehicle panoramic processing module, video storagemodule, video playback module, CAN data reception parsing module are designed.Ultimately, the intelligent vehicle terminal system developed by this research implementsthe functions of vehicle video panoramic stitching display, video storage and playback,vehicle state information display successfully. Tested by the experiment, each performanceindex has reached the desired designing requirement.
